As part of a larger project documenting female athletes across all sports, I had the opportunity to visit Showtime Martial Arts in Ridgewood, New York City. During my visit, I interviewed Coach Harpreet, several of his athletes, and Alyssa Rivera about how taekwondo has positively impacted their lives. We also captured the unique atmosphere of the dojo, blending traditional Korean influences with the vibrant energy of New York City.
